picnic at the park / Christmas tree painting

Apple class went to the park right after assembly and we had a picnic today!

It was super sunny outside, and very warm under the sun too.



First we had snack.


Then we practiced some Christmas songs and dance in the open space..

but the children could not wait to play at the playground!



Of course, the teachers could not stop them from wanting to play either!

We soon dismissed them to the playground!

They played for more than an hour.



After playing, we came back to the table to eat lunch.

Eating outside felt so good!



Winter time can not stop us from enjoying the open air at Hikarigaoka Park!

Art class Mondays!

Today's topic was drawing the Christmas Tree



We started with reading a picture book on Christmas and discussed about what motifs are there. Then we observed the Christmas tree at our school. What kind of ornaments are there? What is on the very top of the tree? Underneath? and around the Christmas tree?

Everybody did very well.
