Culture Day

This week,we continued to learn more three letter words and so far, Apple has been doing a great job remembering all of them!
The temperature had not been too cold these past few days,we decided to go to the park to stretch our legs and play with friends...


We also have culture day for this month,and this year, I talked about the Philippines. I also taught them some tagalog words and let them taste one of our famous snacks from the Philippines as we eat them together....


We also had a little game called "bato,bato,pick" which means "rock,scissors,paper" in english or "jankenpoy" in japanese...our first team was Grape Class versus Melon Class...it had been a long game but Grape Class has won the game...


Since Grape Class won the first round,they challenged Apple Class on the next round...Apple Class did their very best but the victory is still for Grape Class...


We also did a "tumbang lata" game, which means "knock over the can"
in english. What they had to do was,they had to use their shoes to knock over the can...it was a great game but only few of them were able to knock down the can...



After all the fun and games, we studied the World Map, where we look for the countries our friends live...I was surprised because almost all of them were able to locate Mongolia, Korea, Japan, and Philippines. And of course we studied each country's flag,too...
