On the 8th day of our summer school, we sang songs and danced together. We continued learning about the chinese festivals and also reviewed all the festivals around the world. 
It was a hot and humid day so all the kids enjoyed playing in the pool.
In the afternoon, we had watermelon hitting. It was really fun to hit the watermelon using the blind-fold and the best part was to eat the big watermelon together.
It was the last day of our summer school-2. I would like to thank all the parents for sending their kids in our summer school. Our third summer school will be from 22nd August. I am looking forward to seeing all the kids in the third part.

Today our theme was "Festivals of China". We learned different festivals held in China for eg. Lantern festival, Chinese New Year etc.
We cooked fried noodles with lots of vegetables and sausages. It was very delicious. Kids were excited and actively
joined cooking.
In the afternoon, we made chinese lanterns with the construction papers and yarns.
We also had some shaved ice as it was a super hot and humid day.

Today was the 6th day of our Summer school. In the morning,we sang and danced. It was a hot and humid day so to beat the heat we had frozen jelly.
Today our theme was Festivals in Arab so we learned different festivals like Ramadan,Eid and the customs of Islam countries too.
After that, we enjoyed splish and splash in the pool.
In the afternoon, we did sand-art. We sprinkled colorful sands on the pictures and made beautiful crafts on Arabian desert.

Today was the 5th day of our Summer School. In the morning,after singing songs and dances we had snacks together. Our theme was festivals of Brazil. So we learned about the different festivals held in South American countries and watched a short video about the Samba Parade and Brazilian carnivals.
It was a hot and humid day so to beat the heat we enjoyed splish and splash in the pool.
In the afternoon, we made carnival-masks with paper plates.

Today was the fourth day of our Summer School. In the morning,after the assembly time,we had snacks together. Today we learned about the Indian festivals like Diwali (light festival),Holi(color festival) and many more.We watched some videos on the interesting festivals held in different parts of India.
In the afternoon,after the lunch,we ate delicious kiwi fruits. Kids enjoyed eating sweet and juicy golden kiwis.
Today we did crafts related to Indian Festivals. Kids made lamps out of the clays. They created their favorite shapes ,decorated them with colorful beads and painted beautifully too.
