Picnic at Hikarigaoka Park

Stretching is important for a day like this....



Today everybody packed our lunchboxes in their backpacks,

and went to Hikarigaoka Park
for a picnic!!!!



It wasn't the greatest weather for a picnic, but that didn't matter!

We had lots of fun



First we played with balls...

Then we did tug-of-war!

First round was yellow team vs blue team!

Everybody did a good job







We did a round of teachers vs kids!

Of course, the powerful kids won!

3 adults vs......





25kids!!





Next round was grape class vs Ms. Melanie!

Grape class was so strong



Ms. Miho joined Ms. Melanie to help out.

Third round was melon class vs Ms. Miho!





and then apple class vs Ms. Junko.

Lunch was delicious! Everybody was so hungry







After lunch, we played more games.

Who can snatch the rice crackers????









It was a really fun day for everybody!

今月のMelon class（４歳児クラス）では、

私たちの暮らしをより良くするために働いている“医者”、“消防士”、“警察”etc,,,

また、どんな職業があるのか、、、などについて「英語」で学んでいます



今日は、

“宇宙飛行士”をテーマに“Astronaut”という単語はもちろん

“ロケットを作り”



“デカルコマニー”で宇宙を作り





みんな素敵な宇宙飛行士になっちゃいました





大きな空を楽しくお散歩した、Melon classでした

Sports day（てるてる坊主ありがとう!!）

前日の大雨が気になり、視察に行きました



どうなるか・・・と心配しましたが

6月3日（金）

気温２７℃という、昨日の冷たい雨を忘れさせる天候の中、







太陽に負けないくらいの眩しい笑顔で子どもたちは保護者の方と光が丘公園の競技場に集まりました



保護者の方が近くにいる分、寂しくなり泣いてしまう子逆に、カッコイィ所を見せようと張り切る子

みんな、BESTを尽くして、よく頑張りましたね
























今年のテーマである“Enchanted”タイトル通り、可愛いPrincessとカッコイィPrinceに

“魔法にかけられて”しまいましたね











頑張ったのは、子どもたちだけではありません

今回は、保護者の方も参加する競技がたくさんあり、なかでもThrowing ball（玉入れ）の競技では

Bon Fire Danceの踊り練習したのち、本番でしたが・・・

１度しか練習していないのに、保護者の方のDanceの完璧さに教師一同感動しました。


子どもたち一人ひとりの成長が感じられた、親子で楽しむ

Sports day になりました


来年も、楽しみですね

Tomorrow is...

Tomorrow is Sports Day!!!!!
It's time for everyone to show their mommies and daddies what they have been practicing!

Today was our last practice day. Because it was raining we danced indoors. Everyone remembers the dance moves correctly, even the Cherry class enjoyed dancing.

As for throwing balls, blue team won today, but yellow team will try their best tomorrow.

Hopefully tomorrow will be cloudy to sunnyand the temperature will be 27℃!!! We hope to show what we have been practicing for!
