This month our class theme is Thanksgiving. This is a good time to remind our children that there are so many things we should be thankful for, specially the food we eat.
Last week we made Turkey pencil case out of the construction papers.
We had sunny days throughout the week so kids enjoyed outdoor activities.

It's finally autumn! The leaves on the trees are turning yellow and soon will all fall down on the ground. And so,we started this week by making tree with yellow, red and orange leaves....using our foot as the tree trunk and our fingertips for the leaves...
And then we enjoyed playing with the fallen leaves at the park...
We also did our Earthquake ang Fire Drill...though most of the kids in Cherry Class still doesn't understand what we were doing,but I think they liked wearing their head gears...
This week,our lesson was the letter "R"...

We studied W and 19, and read about Thanksgiving.
W for "whistle".
This month, part of our study is about "Why the leaves turn into yellow, orange and red. They learned the words " Chlorophyl, Xanthophyll and Carotene, and drew our own leaves that showed the Chlorophyl, Xanthophyll and Carotene.
And because this month we are going to celebrate Thanksgiving Day, as it is related, for our craft we made a Turkey table napkin holder.
For two days we were not able to go to park, because of the unfavorable weather, and today we took advantage to see and enjoy the beautiful trees at the park.
It was an awesome sight.

１２人になり、パワフルなみんな。
最近は、Cherryさんのお部屋まで使い快適～♫
出来るかわかりませんが…年長さんは、難しいマット運動に挑戦中!!

くま組
平仮名『す、れ、ひ』を丁寧に、かつ素早くかけたくま組さん。どうでしょう？これらの素晴らしい平仮名!!最近、みんなの成長を近くで感じることができています。
童話『ももたろう』の紙芝居を読んだあと、ももたろうクイズにもチャレンジ!!お話をよく理解していて、感動しました～
ひよこ組
反対言葉を学んだ、ひよこ組さん
モンテッソーリの感覚教具では、子どもがその教具を触る（筋肉記憶する）ことで、その言葉の意味がよく覚えられる、と言われています。つまり、身を持って感じること。
教具はありませんが、公園で太い木と細い木を拾って実践するなど、目的に合うものを子どもに提供しています。
