節分

今日は節分の豆まき1日目。

節分の歌を歌い、節分のお話しを聞いて、自分の中の泣き虫鬼さんや怒りん坊鬼さん、わがまま鬼さんやいじわる鬼さんを追い出そう！と言うお話しをしました。
子どもたちは皆んな真剣に聞いていましたよ。

その後は待ちに待った豆まき。怖がるお友達もいましたが、みんな一生懸命豆を投げていました。

明日はお外で豆まきです。皆で悪い鬼さんを退治しましょう‼︎

UKIUKI (^^)Tuesday blog

チーム戦でサッカーを楽しんだUKIUKids.
今日は、男の子が4点　女の子が3点で男の子の勝利でした～(^^)


1月の最後の週に、やっとみんなで猿の福笑いを作る事が出来ました。
さすが年少さん!!!細部まで上手に切れていました。

上着の畳み方を勉強した後は、猿の福笑いを作り。ハサミで切るのが上手になってきたので、湾曲を切る練習もした3人。
文字合わせてにも、チャレンジしました。


カタカナの練習～
復習では、カタカナかるたを楽しみます♪

この日の平仮名の練習は、２つだけ。
難しい【あ】の練習を終えて、みんなで福笑いをしました。みんなで大笑いしたね～

Apple Class

木曜日は全体で色々な国について学び、金曜日は Mr. Luke の出身であるオーストラリアについて学びました。オーストラリアには興味深い動物がたくさんいましたね！ その中から子供たちに馴染みのあるカンガルーを題材にクラフトを作りました。カンガルーのポケットはpouch, ベビーカンガルーのことはjoey と学びました。ポケットの縫い合わせもみんな上手に出来ましたね！

節分のお面制作では、個性あふれるオニのお面が出来上がりました。自分で描いて、切って、貼る。大変でしたが、頑張りましたね！

週末はまた寒い様です。体調を崩さない様に気をつけてくださいね。

Cherry Class

Our school is an International one because we have friends who are from other countries. Each class has a student whose one of their parents is from another country. And that is how we celebrated Culture Day,by introducing to everyone each country their friends are from. In Cherry Class,we have friends whose parent is from China and Korea. In Melon Class,we have someone from France and Pakistan. And in Grape Class,we have from Hawaii and Mongolia.


We also did a craft for Culture Day,by sticking pictures in some countries where other animals are from...


We also studied the "Star" shape and did a Mame-maki craft...

Grape Class

This month in Grape Class we have interesting activities. We have the Culture Day and learning about Solar System.
Last Monday, as related to Solar System, we visited the Planetarium,
We also took advantage while we were at Ikebukuro to visit the Bosaikan.The children were very happy to have unique experiences. They learned the safety ways when there is an earthquake and fire.
At school we have to days to celebrate the Culture day. The first day, we had all the teachers in each class to present the cultures of their international students.In the afternoon, the Grape Class cooked and prepared plates of dishes from different countries: Japan, Norimaki, Philippines, Adobo, India, Curry and nan, and Australia's, Fairy bread. The children had wonderful time.
